Bentleigh Uniting Let Off The Hook

The 1sts had Bentleigh in all sorts of trouble at 7/80 before the tail wagged for Bentleigh Uniting as they reached 197. Jayme Saleem (3/36) and Mitch Strahan (3/27) were the best of the bowlers.

The 2nds had a tough day at the office as Bentleigh Uniting made 6/300 from their allotted overs. James Napier bowled well and was unlucky taking 0/20 from 9 overs while  Liam Polinelli bowled well for 2/54 from 11 overs. Kim Pitt chipped in 3/92 from 14 overs.

Jeremy Dunning continued his strong return to form with 4/32 from 10 overs while Scott Campbell picked up 4/11 from 12 overs as the 3rds ran all over Kingston Heath to have them all out for 152.

The 4ths had a great day in the field, restricting Melbourne Hellenic to 8/182 in their 65 overs. Rising junior star Odin Duesbury took 3/43 from 13 overs while McMurray lead the way with 4 wickets.

The 6ths face an uphill battle next week against East Benteligh Central after conceding 9/312. Jason Crossley (2/77) and Oliver Read (2/79) toiled hard while Mick Citler chipped with two wickets of his own. Youngster Josh McIntyre was a shining light with 1/31 from 8 overs.
