1sts, 4ths charge towards the finals
In spite of a poor batting performance, the 1st XI pushed for an outright against Carnegie South with Luke Manders starring with match figures of 7/57. Mark Devereaux picked up two wickets as well and the boys will have to keep winning to cement their spot in the finals with Hampton Central breathing down their neck.
The 2nd XI was soundly beaten by Highett West by 79 runs - Heath McLeod batting well for 32 one of the few highlights for the boys.
The 3rd XI would have backed their chances to defend 297 against Brighton Union, but unfortunately were found wanting in the bowling stakes, taking only 3 wickets as the home side reached the total with five overs to spare. Hayward took two wickets for the visitors.
The 4ths convincingly defended their total of 222, bowling Brighton Union out for 161. Mark "Funky" Taubman and Scotty Campbell both picked up two wickets as the 4ths now sit half a game outside the 4 with a far superior percentage to fourth-placed Brighton Union.
The 6ths completed the second week of a bye.
