The P-Man Cometh!

Patty "P-Man" Singh tore through the Carnegie South batting line up with a five-wicket haul to place the 1sts in a strong position in their two-day game. After losing the toss, East Sandy instantly had the visitors on the back foot, having them 6/26 at one stage. The tail wagged moderately, allowing Carnegie to be all out for 88 in the 51st over.

East Sandringham were 4/55 in reply at stumps.

In 2nd XI news, the boys fought back from a vulnerable position early to bowl Omega out for 216. Omega, who at one stage were 2/159, capitualted to some great bowling by West, Morphet, Caterson.

The 3rds were on fire against Brighton Union with a commanding 6/297 including 49* from Doggy, 85 from Paul Bennett and 75 from Rayson.

The 4ths reported no results and the 6ths had a bye.
