Mark Devereaux wins JJ Medal 2015/16

Saturday 27/02 saw the voting and awarding of the 2015/16 John Jones Medal take place. This medal is given to the best player across all senior grades and is voted by three people on a 3,2,1 weekly basis.

The count was closely fought with 8 players still able to win coming into round 11. As it happened Liam Polinelli picked up 7 votes for his 4/32 and Mark Devereaux 5 votes for his 74 runs across 2 innings and 1/12 off his bowling leaving Mark Devereaux (23 votes) to be crowned the John Jones Medalist for the second time with Liam Polinelli runner-up (21 votes).
