1sts Off To Flying Start

Star recruit and former Test player Brad Hodge made a sparkling start for East Sandy on Sunday, hitting an unbeaten half-century to steer East Sandringham to victory over Washington Park.
Chasing 153, East Sandy got the target easily and with 15 overs to spare, Hodge hitting the winning runs and finishing at a run a ball 68no with Guy Martyn chipping in with 33no in a 91 run partnership with 17 over to spare. 
The win was setup by a disciplined bowling and fielding display to restrict Washington Park to 7/153 off their 40 overs with new gun Matt Ryan taking 3/31 and Nick Knight bowling at the death claiming 2/34.
