Young Guns Show The Future

A glimpse of the future was provided in the 2nds with openers Nick Knight 5/31 off 11 and Liam Polinelli 5/65 of 21 having Bentleigh Uniting all out for 198. Young Patty Inglis also bowled exceptionally well in support through the later overs.

The 4ths scoring 225 with Ryan McMurray 49, Neil McIntyre 37no and Brett Bailey 30 and the 5ths 8/198 with Michael Edwards hitting 98 are also well placed for victory.

The lsts need to chase down Bentleigh Uniting's 3/282, Brendan Bennett being the pick of the bowlers with 1/49 off 19 overs whilst the 3rds face an uphill battle conceding 7/330 to Bentleigh ANA with Scotty Campbell 4/79 and Luke Emsley 3/49 as the best of the bowlers.

All teams are still in the hunt so lets have a big week at training to make sure all those Zebras point forward next Saturday night.

The club's annual $1000 day is also on next Sunday 25/10/14, so pick up your tickets and get as many down to what is always a memorable day.
